How do we find you in the airport?
We have noticed at the airport, other firms have a piece of paper with a name scribbled on it. This looks awful, unprofessional and doesn’t make it easily identifiable for the passenger.
We feel our bright yellow board with our name and passenger's name clearly identifies us.
When the passengers come
through into the terminal
building, they will be met by their driver.
The driver will then escort them across to the vehicle and will assist them if they require any help.
Who are your drivers?
All of our drivers are qualified, licensed taxi drivers and all fully CRB checked. They all have excellent local knowledge.
Each one has been specifically selected by us because of our personal knowledge of their high standards. We welcome all feedback to help us ensure that we maintain the high standard of all our drivers.
What happens at the Airport?
At Liverpool John Lennon Airport the driver will meet you as you come through with your luggage, he will be displaying a sign with Bridgewater and your name clearly displayed. At other airports we ask that you phone the office once you have all your luggage. The driver will then drive around and collect you from the terminal entrance.
What happens if the flight has a long delay?
This is why we ask for your flight number. Our drivers use this to check when your plane is expected to land. They will be waiting for you when you do arrive no matter how bad the delay is and you pay the price we quoted you.
How do I pay?
Pounds sterling only, please, and pay the driver at your destination. We promise a clean, modern taxi with a driver who will meet you at the airport and take you to your destination for the agreed price and not a penny more.
Do I need to tip the driver?
If you feel a tip is appropriate that is up to you.
Can I use you for other journeys?
By all means, please ask us to make your bookings in advance. We can advise you on where is worth a visit, both local and UK-wide places of interest. We can arrange a taxi for trips to anywhere in the UK.
How much do you charge per extra passenger?
We will provide a saloon car (1-4 people) or an MPV (people carrier) for up to 6 passengers at 50% the cost of the car. The journey to your destination is one fixed price.
What about seatbelts and child seats?
Seatbelts are to be worn by all adults and children if possible, private
hire vehicles and minibuses are exempt from the law regarding child seats. For airport trip etc. you can provide your own seats and we will store them and provide them in the vehicle for your return. This is the best option for you, as you can provide the correct size seat and this is also the most hygenic way for your child to travel.
What if my plans change before I fly?
Please phone us as soon as possible to inform us of any changes or cancellation.
